This question lands in my inbox almost every week, usually from an artist who has just finished her Profusion manual or scrolled past an overseas post showing a Profusion tint. So let me answer it plainly.

No. Elleeplex Profusion tints are not sold in the US. I know. I'm sorry. Now for the good news.

Elleeplex Profusion lash and brow lamination is available here, and so is the rest of the Profusion and Elleeplex lineup we carry. The Profusion tint range is not. Here is what that means behind the chair, and what US artists use instead.

Why your manual still mentions it

Elleebana is taught and sold in more than 60 countries, and a lot of the training material is written for that global audience. That is why you will see the Profusion tint referenced in manuals, in tinting options, and in photos from artists outside the US.

When your manual describes a tinting step using the Profusion tint, the US answer is to use a tint that is sold here and to follow that tint's own directions. Do not borrow the Profusion tint's instructions and apply them to a different product. Each tint system has its own mixing, its own developer and its own guidance, and those details do not transfer from one brand to another.

For lashes: Belmacil

On lashes, Belmacil Tint is the tint to use in the US. It is a Swiss-formulated professional tint for lashes and brows. Belmacil is its own company, owned by Elleebana, and it is the lash tint that Elleebana's own US guidance points to alongside its lift and lamination systems.

The US range is six shades: 1 Black, 2 Blue Black, 3 Dark Brown, 3.1 Light Brown, 3.3 Honey Brown and 5 Graphite. They intermix, so you can blend to the client in front of you rather than settling for the nearest tube.

Belmacil is designed to be used with Belmacil Crème Oxydant, a 3% cream developer. Keep the two together and do not swap in a developer from another brand.

If you are just starting out with tinting, the Belmacil Mini Tint Kit gives you four of those shades, Black, Blue Black, Dark Brown and Light Brown, along with the Crème Oxydant and the station basics. It is also the kit that comes with the Tint Kit Upgrade on our course packages, so a lot of my students already have it by the time they ask this question.

For brows: Belmacil or Infinity Aqua Drops

On brows you have two good options.

Belmacil works on brows as well as lashes, so if you only want to stock one tint line, it covers both services. Light Brown is the shade Belmacil itself considers the most suitable brow color, and blends of the browns give you plenty of range.

Infinity Aqua Drops is a brow-only liquid tint. Infinity is its own company, not part of Elleebana, and Aqua Drops should never be used on lashes. It works as a standalone brow tint or after a brow lamination, including after Elleeplex Profusion or Brik & Pearl brow lamination. There are seven intermixable shades: Nemesis (Black), Electra (Dark Brown), Apollo (Medium Brown), Aphrodite (Light Brown), Ares (Red), Selene (Blonde) and Zeus, a cool toner.

Aqua Drops is henna-free, vegan and cruelty free, with peptide bond builders in the formula. Those are product features, not a reason to skip any step. Henna-free does not mean a client can skip her patch test.

Aqua Drops pairs with Infinity's own developers, the Infinity Hybrid Tint Oxidizer (cream) or the Infinity Liquid Tint Spray Oxidizer. Which one you use comes down to preference.

We also carry RefectoCil, for lashes and brows. It is a well-established line with its own color chemistry and its own instructions, so treat it as its own system too.

Keep each tint with its own developer

This is the part I see go wrong most often when artists improvise. A mismatched tint and developer combination can do more than change the color. It can drop a lamination you just spent your whole service building. Developer strengths vary between brands, and a lamination is designed around specific conditions.

My rule in my salon is simple: Belmacil with Crème Oxydant, Aqua Drops with an Infinity oxidizer, RefectoCil with RefectoCil. No mixing across brands, ever. Think of it as a strict no-plus-ones policy.

How tint fits into a Profusion service

Tint is its own step after the lamination. It does not replace any part of the lift or lamination, and it is not a shortcut.

Two things to watch:

  • Freshly laminated hair can look different. After a lift or lamination, hair can look lighter or more matte, and tint can appear more intense than you expect. Watch the hair, not just the clock.
  • Timing and order matter. How long to wait, when to tint in the same appointment, and when to book the tint separately all depend on the client and the products. That is exactly the kind of question Ellee can answer from the product guidance on file.

Which should you stock?

If you want one tint line for both lashes and brows, start with Belmacil. If brows are a big part of your book and you want a brow-specific tint with a wider shade range, add Infinity Aqua Drops alongside it. Many of the artists I train end up with both: Belmacil for every lash tint, and Aqua Drops or Belmacil for brows depending on the client.

Common questions

Can I use Infinity Aqua Drops on lashes? No. Aqua Drops is a brow-only tint. For lashes, use Belmacil.

Is Belmacil an Elleebana product? Belmacil is its own company, owned by Elleebana. It is a Swiss-formulated professional tint for lashes and brows, and it is the lash tint used with Elleebana lift and lamination services in the US.

Can I tint after an Elleeplex Profusion lamination? Yes. Tint is its own step after the lamination. For timing, and for when it is better to wait, ask Ellee.

Will Profusion tints come to the US? I don't have any news to share on that. If that ever changes, we will share it here.
