Glueless Lash Lift
An adhesive-free lift built on the Freestyle method. The hold comes from thickening the Step 2 setting lotion, not from lash lift glue.
What Glueless Really Means
Glueless builds on Freestyle: the lifting lotion goes on while the lashes rest downward, and once softened they are lifted onto a rod or shield. The difference is the hold. Instead of adhesive, the Step 2 setting lotion is thickened with Elleemix Powder into a tacky grip that holds the lashes exactly where they are placed. A tiny bit of balm at the start is optional.
Elleemix Powder can also go into the Step 1 lifting lotion, but for a different reason: to keep that lotion in place so it does not migrate toward the eye. That Step 1 thickening is optional and is not what holds the wrap. It is also different from the Korean method, where thickening Step 1 is a required, structural part of the technique.
Glueless really means adhesive alternative rather than zero tack. It uses fewer materials and gives clean, soft results that are gentle on delicate or previously treated lashes, but it is not automatically cleaner, faster, easier or safer. Lashes can still shift if the wrap is untidy or the product is uneven.

How the Glueless Lash Lift Works
Soften down
Step 1
Lifting lotion goes onto the lashes in their natural downward position. A little Elleemix Powder can be added to stop it migrating.
Place
Once flexible
The softened lashes are lifted onto Flex Rods or Flex Hybrid Shields. A tiny touch of balm at the start is optional.
Thicken and hold
Step 2
Setting lotion thickened with Elleemix Powder grips the lashes where they are placed while it sets the shape. Lift Lockers can press them into place.
Check
Readiness
Thickened lotion absorbs more slowly, so processing often runs longer. Confirm with set checks rather than the clock.
Elleeplex Profusion with Elleemix Powder is the recommended combination for adhesive-free work. Brik & Pearl also works for this method, thickened with Elleemix Powder in the same way, though it needs slightly less. Follow each product's current directions, contraindications and patch-testing requirements. Processing times are guides: judge readiness with flex and set checks, not the clock.
Glueless Lash Lift FAQ
Does glueless mean no sticky product at all?
No. It means no traditional lash lift adhesive holds the lashes. The thickened setting lotion, and sometimes a touch of balm, still does a gripping job, just more gently and repositionably than glue.
Which lotion is thickened to hold the lashes?
The Step 2 setting lotion. That is the adhesive-free hold. Elleemix Powder can also be added to Step 1, but only to keep the lifting lotion from migrating toward the eye, not to hold the wrap.
How is Glueless different from Freestyle?
Both apply the lifting lotion while the lashes rest downward and wrap them once soft. Freestyle usually secures the wrap with balm. Glueless thickens the setting lotion so that it does the holding instead.
How is it different from the Korean Lash Lift?
The Korean method thickens both lotions as a required part of the technique and softens the lashes upward on a flat shield. Glueless softens them downward and relies on the thickened setting lotion for the hold.
Is glueless faster, easier or safer?
Not automatically. Lashes can still shift if the wrap is untidy or the product is uneven, so it needs the same precision and control as a traditional lift. The name alone does not make it safer.
Which shields work best?
Flex Rods or Flex Hybrid Shields, whose tacky, textured surface grips the lid gently without adhesive. Lift Lockers give extra support by pressing the lashes into place during setting.
Does thickening change the timing?
Yes. Thickening reduces the water that carries the active ingredients, so absorption slows and processing often needs to run longer. Confirm readiness with checks, not the timer.
